Hall of Fame

Since Suzanne Semans opened her doors in 1967 and many of her students have gone on to become professional dancers.  Below is just three of her students:

Cyndi Schneidau received her first full contract when she was 18 years old.  She danced with three professional ballet companies.  Ms. Schneidau was the first student of Suzanne Semans who became a professional ballet dancer.

Erica Mansfield was a student of Miss Susie's from the age of 7 through high school.  After graduating she went on to work professionally in New York where she has had a successful career in theatre ever since.  You can currently find her on the Broadway  show in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starring Daniel Radcliff where she is a understudy for the role of Miss Jones.  Previously, Erica was in the Broadway production of Mamma Mia as well as the National Tour where she went on as the understudy for the role of Sophie.  She also originated the 1st national tour of A Chorus Line playing Cassie, Sheila, Maggie and Judy.  Other regional credits include Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Mrs. Claus), Grease (Marty), Oklahoma (Gertie/us. Ado Annie), Hello Dolly (us. Ernestina, Minnie Faye, Ermengarde) and Cruise Ships internationally.

"I am forever grateful for the invaluable training that Miss Susie has given me to sustain a long career on Broadway.  I not only came away with the technique to achieve a great career, but I learned to be professional, respectful and kind in a profession that can be brutal.  Miss Susie helped give me the tools to achieve all that this wonderful business has to offer."

Stephanie Gibson currently understudies the role of Morticia Addams and dances in the ensemble of the Broadway Addams Family.  She made her broadway debut in Spamalot, where she understudied Lady of the Lake.  Her other New York credits include Anyone Can Whistle at City Center Encores! and Fingers and Toes at The New York Theatre Festival, where she starred as Molly Molly.  National Tours include A Chorus Line (Judy Turner), Happy Days The Musical (Lori Beth), and Dreamgirls.  Stephanie has been seen in the regional productions of Robin and the Seven Hoods (Old Globe), Happy Days (Papermill Playhouse), and four seasons at the St. Louis MUNY.  Television credits include "All My Children", "As The World Turns", and "Guiding Light".  Stephanie can be heard on the original cast recording of Happy Days The Musical.  She is also a graduate of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
